Education Gaining Ground, a non-profit corporation, is launching a campaign to improve educational opportunities for students and teachers. Leveraging online learning technology, eGG will debut with professional development opportunities designed to build a learning community that can share best practices and renew our hope for the future of quality, meaningful Online Education.

The Board members of Education Gaining Ground have over fifty years of online learning experience as students, teachers and administrators. Professional and educational backgrounds come from the fields of education, psychology, technology, organizational development, and cultural synergy. We love learning, and are passionate about improving and expanding educational opportunities in ways only online learning can. We’re eGGcited!


	Company News College Preview Learning Block Designed The first College Preview learning Block on Social Insects has been created on Moodle. This sample will serve as the template for the portfolio of offerings. Visitors and comments welcome. Log into the eGGcited site. eGG Causes eGG is about launch a Causes campaign on Facebook. Developing Online Workshops for Online Instructors We are working on two workshops right now: Mastering a connective voice in an online setting: From Course Materials to dialog. Get to work! College Preview Learning (CPL)Blocks for high school students and adult learners in transition.

We are building a portfolio of college level Preview Blocks to give High School students the opportunity to taste-test a wide range of disciplines. We believe we can eGGnite their passion for learning, and encourage them to finish high school and enter college if we can fully inform them of what awaits.

Professional Development Workshops

We understand how difficult it is to find quality, affordable, convenient Professional Development opportunities. We will be developing and facilitating online, asynchronous workshops that will both serve teaching methodology and content specialty needs.
